Get to Know Lisa Dailey

What do you to at Energize?

I am the manager of Energize Credit Union and like most managers of small organizations I do a variety of things. On any given day you can find me working on accounting and finance related tasks, prepping for an upcoming board meeting, or working out the details on a new project. I love that my position provides variety, so I am not doing the same thing each day!

What energizes you at work?

I get excited when a general ledger account is out of balance, and I locate the problem and bring it back in balance. I know that could be the nerdiest thing you have ever heard, but it’s the truth.

I also love working on various projects such as the newsletter and website redesign, member feedback survey, re-branding, adding features to the mobile app, etc. These projects all give me a chance to expand my knowledge and skills in new areas!

Who makes up your family and where do you live?

My family relocated last year to Blanchard. My husband, Kirk, and I have been married for 19 years. Our son, Hayden is a freshman, and our daughter Lakelynn is in kindergarten at Bridge Creek Schools.

What would we most likely find you doing on the weekend?

I love spending time outdoors. Depending on the time of year, it can be sitting on the back porch, swimming, at the lake, attending high school or OU football games, etc. Also, doing less glamours chores such as grocery shopping, cleaning house and doing laundry. A clean house really does help me feel calm and focused.

What book are you reading now?

I have around a 35-minute commute to the office, so I listen to 3-4 audio books a month. Currently, I am listening to Shoe Dog: A Memoir by the Creator of Nike by Phil Knight. I love non-fiction books! This month I have also listened to The High Five Habit by Mel Robbins and The Hard Thing About Hard Things by Ben Horowitz. My favorite audio books are when the author reads the book themselves.
