In today’s digital age, the convenience of managing our finances online is undeniable. With this convenience comes the responsibility of safeguarding our financial information from potential threats. Having a unique log in name and complex password to access your accounts is more important than ever. Because of this and the utmost importance Energize Credit Union places on the security of our members’ information, effective January 2, 2024, at 9 am, we will be adding an extra layer of protection by strengthening our online banking/ mobile app login name and password requirements to better protect members like you.

After that date when you attempt to log in using your existing log in name and password you will be prompted to change your log in name and password to be more complex. If you would like to go ahead and update your log in and password, you can do so by clicking preferences change login name and/ or change password in either online banking or the mobile app.

Log in name criteria

The login name you create may be up to 15 characters in length. The login name may not be the same as your member number or social security number.

Complex password criteria

Passwords must contain characters from at least three of the following four classes:

• Upper case letters
• Lower case letters
• Numbers
• Non-alphanumeric “special characters” such as punctuation symbols

Passwords may not contain any part of the Log in Name.
